SERO2.0 (SPANOS): May Overthrow The Existing Blockchain Technology
Since the announcement of the SERO2.0-SPANOS plan, more technical details have been disclosed, gradually unveiling the grand goal of SERO2.0.
SERO CTO Mr Durant explained his thoughts on SPANOS technology selection at the first anniversary of the mainnet launch.
Durant said that “blockchain and alliance chain technologies have their own strengths, but the nature of the two is not as distinct as expected. It seems that the feasibility of combining alliance chain and real economy is more advanced, but in fact, the development of blockchain technology shows more possibilities. The open source characteristics of blockchain technology and the consensus atmosphere of the entire blockchain community provide a better space for technological development, enabling various technologies to be fully integrated. SPANOS is the goal conceived in such an environment. The goal of SERO2.0 is to be able to generate a more direct link with the real economy and provide more practical applications that are closely related to human economic activities. Therefore, in terms of technical characteristics, SPANOS is fully compatible with the work that can be done by the existing mainstream alliance chain technology. Of course, privacy protection technology and flexible data permission scalability are the most basic, and provide powerful performance and scalability. We believes that the birth of SPANOS will be a milestone in the history of the development of blockchain technology, but SPANOS is also inseparable from the collective of all current developing blockchain technologies.
Currently, the development of SPANOS is very smooth, SPANOS will release the test network within six months at the earliest.
